Kingsman and Marquis Skyline II/III Gas Fireplaces recalled

Health Canada has issued a recall on certain Kingsman Fireplaces and Marquis Collection Skyline II/III series linear gas fireplaces due to fire hazard. This recall involves Marquis VRB Series model number MQVRB46NE2; Kingsman ZRB Series (model numbers ZRB46LP, ZRB46LPE, ZRB46N, ZRB46NE); and Kingsman VRB Series (model numbers VRB46LP, VRB46LPE, VRB46N, VRB46NE). The affected fireplaces have a gap in the outer cabinet, which may cause nearby wood framing studs to overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fireplaces, shut off the gas supply to the fireplace and contact the dealer where the fireplace was purchased to schedule a free repair.
