Optimus Gemini 2-Burner Gas Stove recalled

Health Canada has issued a recall notice for Optimus Gemini 2-burner gas stoves due to a fire hazard risk.

Product

This recall notice is for Optimus Gemini 2-burner gas stoves with serial numbers RG000001- RG006788 and RG023004 - RG023323. The serial number can be found engraved on the connector to the gas cartridge. 

These stoves are used for outdoor living, are black metal with silver top burner surfaces and can be used with isobutane-propane fuels.

Issue

The recalled product may pose a fire hazard due to a tear in the stove’s gas regulator seal which may cause a gas leak.

What to do

Consumers should stop using the Optimus Gemini gas stove immediately and return the product to the original place of purchase for a full refund.
